Ahead of its 15th anniversary in early 2023, Palisociety has revived its original location, Palihouse West Hollywood. The 95-room hotel, now located along West 3rd Street in the heart of Los Angeles, features a pair of signature F&B options, a swimming pool and lounge, and Palisociety’s distinctive perspective on boutique luxury hospitality.
“Bringing this hotel to life has been an inspired journey many years in the making,” says Palisociety founder Avi Brosh. “We’ve taken our vision from the past 15 years and put it into a flagship representation of Palisociety. It’s a hotel that feels like home, where the design is eye-catching and nuanced at the same time, where every small detail plays an important role in place-setting, and where our innkeeper-style approach to travel and hospitality is elevated for the LA landscape. Los Angeles is where we started, where we remain, and where we hope to continue to grow, and this hotel is the beacon of our collection in and around the city and beyond.”
Quirky but sophisticated, Palihouse West Hollywood evokes a European flair through eclectic layers of patterns, textures, and fabrics. Wallpapered ceilings and walls adorned with custom millwork serve as upscale backdrops for vintage and custom furnishings. Wood paneling lines the arrival experience, which leads to the sunny lobby lounge, café, and bar. Greenery, custom tiles, and oversized pendant lighting distinguish the space, which is outfitted with several seating nooks and connects to an alfresco patio featuring tiles and a fountain for a Moroccan-style ambiance.
Just above the lounge is luxe sake bar and sushi concept Mezzanine Sushi, and the pool deck is tucked away on the second floor, lined with latticed walls offset by abundant greenery.
Ranging from 330 to 660 square feet, the accommodations at Palihouse West Hollywood—available in queen, double queen, king, and suite configurations—draw inspiration from pied-à-terres. An earthy palette of orange, wood, and deep green tones comprise a warm backdrop for bespoke details and custom features. Mahogany wood, detailed tilework, and custom vanities characterize the rooms’ cozy bathrooms as well.
