Colonial Heights Chamber presents Tri Cities Home & Garden Show

COLONIAL HEIGHTS – Don’t miss your opportunity to speak directly with experts at the Tri Cities Home and Garden Show today.

The Colonial Heights Chamber of Commerce is hosting its inaugural event until 8:00 p.m. this evening at the former Sears building at Southpark Mall.

“We just bought a house a year ago, and we’re expanding,” said Derrick Davis of Dinwiddie. “We saw it online and said let’s go to this Home Show to get some ideas.”

Attendees can get in for free to visit wall-to-wall displays and exhibits, register for prizes, gather give-a-ways in their complimentary souvenir shopping bag, purchase some plants from the Colonial Heights / Petersburg SPCA, and more.

Possum rescued by Valerie Gurr of Chesterfield serves as the Petersburg Colonial Heights SPCA mascot during the Tri Cities Home and Garden Show at Southpark Mall in Colonial Heights, Va. on May 22, 2021.

“It’s an awesome show, and I think it’s wonderful for Petersburg,” said Norah’s Boutique owner Sharon Scott. “I hope it’s even bigger next year.”

Food trucks are on sight including Petersburg’s own Beaunuts Buttermilk Donuts. And, to cool you off on this sweltering day, Haley’s Honey Meadery will be selling non-alcoholic wine slushies.
