COLONIAL HEIGHTS – Would you like to bend some home and garden experts’ ears and pick their brains? The Colonial Heights Chamber of Commerce is organizing a home and garden show, and as far as they know, it is the first one ever in the Tri-Cities area.
For one weekend, there will be wall-to-wall displays and exhibits. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with experts and receive the advice and inspiration needed to turn their dream homes or other home improvement projects into a reality.
Learn the latest trends in design, product offerings, maintenance tips, and more on everything to do with kitchen and bath remodeling, roofing, flooring, home security, water conditioning, insulation, windows and exterior products, and much more.
The event showcasing local businesses will take place in the former Sears Building at the Southpark Mall in Colonial Heights on May 21 and 22.
Attendees can hire contractors or landscapers and shop and save on products, services, and décor from over 100 exhibitors. There will be hundreds of home improvement ideas along with outdoor living displays and beautifully themed gardens.
A variety of vendors and sponsors will be representing during the Home Show such as the following: heating and air services, roofing services, plumbing, interior design, landscaping, realtor services, banking, pharmacy services, financial services, tire and auto services, business groups, hardwood, carpet, and laminate installation, and food trucks.

“Safety is our primary concern and we will be following all Government and CDC COVID-19 guidelines. We are highly suggesting that the community wear masks and remain at 6-foot social distancing intervals at all times during the event,” said Colonial Heights Chamber Executive Director John Brandt. “We will also be providing hand-sanitization stations and a mask to anyone that does not have the proper protection. We even have temperature scanners as you enter the event.”
