2021 Monmouth County Fair Home & Garden Competition

(FREEHOLD, NJ) — It’s time to start getting your entries ready for the 2021 Monmouth County Fair Home & Garden Competition Staff will accept entries of art, photos, crafts, and needlework on Sunday, July 18 from 9:00am-3:00pm and on Monday, July 19 from 8:00am-11:00am.  Entries from Senior Centers and Adult Day Programs will be accepted on Monday, July 19 and Tuesday, July 20 from 9:00am-12:00pm.  Flower and vegetable entries should be delivered to the Fairgrounds on Friday, July 23 from 8:00am-12:00pm.  Bakers’ Day will be back in 2022.

Those entering into the competitions are asked to read all the General Rules and Judging Criteria for their specific entry divisions as there have been major adjustments to divisions and classes.   The Home & Garden Competition brochure is available online at www.MonmouthCountyFair.com.  Information is also available by calling 732-842-4000. For persons with hearing impairment, the TTY/TDD number is 711.

After judging, entries into the Home & Garden Competition can be seen at the 46th annual Monmouth County Fair.  Held at East Freehold Showgrounds, Kozloski Road, Freehold, the Fair runs Wednesday-Sunday, July 21-25.  Hours are 4:00pm-11:00pm on Wednesday-Friday, July 21-23; 11:00am-11:00pm on Saturday, July 24; and 11:00am-6:00pm on Sunday, July 25.  General admission to the Fair is $8 per adult; children 17 and under are admitted free.  On Sunday, seniors 65 and older and active military with card are free. Discounted pre-sale passes will be available through the Viply app starting July 15.

The Monmouth County Fair is organized and presented by the Monmouth County Park System in cooperation with the Monmouth County 4-H Association.
